having missed the game against col u midweek i cant comment on grants performance but by all accounts he was very good.after watching him at home to scunny on saturday he didnt play well and didnt look interested and i was very dissapointed with him overall.as i have previously stated on here i reserve judgement untill i have seen him play more games,it may have been nerves or just an offday on saturday who knows .what do you reckon is he gonna be one of those hit and miss players or is he gonna become a fans favourite.
The commentators were commenting on how much better he was than on Saturday and both were suggesting him as man of the match, which he was. Sounded like he was skipping past defenders so hopefully he will repeat the performance and cause too many problems for the U's defence. Rendell didn't seem very effective so maybe he'll better as a powerful substitute, coming off the bench for the last 30 mins.
i listened to the commentary ron and he sounded very good on the night ,lets hope we have another steve guppy on our hands
