So Mr. Grabban, suspended for now Awaiting the outcome no doubt, Most here I´m sure are anticipating soon An announcement he´s on his way out And what can you do with a fella like that Short of sending him back whence he came, The whole point of his tantrum on Tuesday night I´m sure Grabban himself, would claim So, should we give in to his childish demands ´Cause one thing we can guarantee, Back with the Cherries and his mentor Howe He´ll set off on a wild scoring spree No-one should condone his toy throwing act But nor should he just get his way, I say keep him safe under lock and key Until well after this Deadline Day Perhaps he might then have a change of thought And put the team before himself, For until he does, with our young manager He´s likely to be on the shelf Strange that his ego has grown quite so large When his play is moderate at best, Whatever decision D. Mac and A. Neil Come to, I´m sure they´ll pass the test. OTBC - INIT
Well RBF - I don't know how you come up with a rhyme that tells the story so brilliantly. I've never really rated Grabban, even although he scored quite a few goals at the start of last season - he missed even more!!! I'm sure most fans would agree with me in that they wouldn't be that sorry to see him leave and just hope that Hooper stays.
I've always like Grabban and AN did too, but that's because I could see the unpolished diamond in him. Once he zero'd in his aim, he would have been a great player. Which, he hasn't yet and is therefore not. So he ain't in a position to have ideas above his station.
