A public thank you for young Mr. Chamberlain. He spoke to me a while back and said that at the Walsall game he would get my shirt signed, we got into reception nicely and some players and wives were milling about at around 12:50. The reception is very nice (has anyone been in there?) and is very smart with the kits all over the walls and so it goes on. Anyway after the game as some of you might know I could get NOWHERE near reception, we asked a member of security who was wandering round idly to either A) Let us through to receive the shirt back from Alex, or to B) Fetch it for us very kindly. He refused to do either. Anyway one of the stadium staff in the red suits told us Alex had taken the shirt but he didn't know if it had been returned, he was very helpful and if he is reading thise, thank you to you too. He brought it back and it's fair to say I got a heck of a lot of evil glares when he said "Alex says it's all sorted and back in the bag, and there's a note too". Thank you very much to the person who felt it appropriate to scream "C*nt!" at me at the top of his voice. After a superb day it really rounded off the day nicely. A great gesture and totally free, will never be forgotten. Now I am hunting for a frame and plaque to stick it up in the house. please log in to view this image Thanks Alex. P.S. Did anyone else bag themselves anything on a side note? I saw one guy with Richardson's boots and someone else trying to uproot a corner flag while someone seemed to be wanted some of the goal!
