This was something I was thinking yesterday that Supers has just alluded to so I thought I'd create a thread. In my lifetime as a Canary fan (37 years and a few days if we assume I was born a City fan) I have known us to concede seven goals in a game on two occasions: 2009/10 v Colchester - we went on to be crowned champions 1992/93 v Blackburn - we went on to finish in our highest ever position, 3rd in the Premiership. Therefore based on this, and this alone, surely saturday was a great omen and the season is destined to end up a roaring success, Champions League here we come!!!!
Last Saturday was a day for strange results anyway! Fort William in the Highland League won 3 - 2 away from home!
whilst I am trying to keep things in perspective and optimistic where possible, I have to admit Munky I need a bit more than the Colchester and Blackburn scenarios. Sorry fella, that ain't gona fly this time.
That's a superb graphic that is and highlights the topsy-turvy nature of the Premier League - I wonder how many other league could say that after just ten games? Here's another positive for you - we have scored the same number of goals from open play (six) as high-flying Tottenham
