Please can we stop comparing Nigel to Poche on this forum please? I'm really tired of it and it makes us look like fools. I'm very pleased with our new manager, he looks the real deal and I think he will lead us to great things. But the truth is none of us know how well Nigel would have done over recent games. I still think Nigel has the potential to be one of the top managers in the country. Managers come and go and the club moves on. The way everyone keeps comparing them is a bit like telling your new girlfriend how much better she is than your old girlfriend. So let's give Nigel a cheer tomorrow, and then let's knock this on the head for good. Thanks.

I think we will. But win lose or draw I still think we should stop all these comparisons, which we've been making almost constantly since the day we beat Man City.

Embarrassed is a personal emotion. You either are are you aren't. I should know I've done a lot of embarrassing stuff over the years. I'm not saying you should be embarrassed I'm saying we should stop all the comparisons because it makes us look like fools. It's just an observation.
I am not sure that many of us are comparing the two. We did a poll on here and it was pretty unanimous that the team are playing better under MP but Nigel's achievements are beyond question. It is only natural to wonder, "what if..?" but I doubt if many fans from other clubs really care what we think about this at all.

I think Mauricio is better looking. Just for the record, comparing anyone isn't foolish. It's something some people do. I don't mind if people do it or not, but to be frank, coming on here and saying it's foolish is ... well, foolish!
It's not a timely plea at all. It's just something you want. It pisses me off when people get high and mighty and say "It's time to ..." whatever it is about. If you don't like it, don't read it. Simple. Funny you say "I'm not interested in what other fans think..." It's a fans' forum for crying out loud, what on earth do you expect to read other than what other fans think?

Look, Nigel was sacked mid season so up until the end of the season the two are likely, upon occasion, to be compared. That's going to be particularly the case when they go head-to-head like Saturday. It will simmer down after that, but really it will rear itself until the end of this season, then naturally die away. Honestly, I think you can live with that particular supposed folly....
