Stop passing the ball to Sigy, he keeps scoring and the money they will want for him will keep going up and we want him and so will others so please stop passing him the ball.
pmsl yeah his stock is rising every game, I think there is going to be a lot of competition for his signature and wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool or Arsenal come in for him, don't think we will have the funds to compete. Still it's up to him as well

Rodgers was upbeat on Goals On Sunday on Sky this morning about signing him. He conceded he was a Hoffenheim player but almost let the cat out of the bag when he said, "...but he wants to...er..." then stopped himself. I recorded it and played it back just to be sure. Bottom line is that I get the feeling Siggy wants to sign for us. Kammy made your point that it's a catch 22. The better he is the more he catches the eye.
My biggest fear is when talk in the media focused on a few teams wanting to get Sig in the price range between 6 and 7 million , Rodgers came out a few days later with " Are first 5 million player is not far off " . Kinda didn't add up for me & wondered if he was sending a " read between the lines " sort of let down . Maybe not ... but maybe !
We get £750,000 extra for each place higher in the table we finish. So if he keeps scoring he'll pay for himself. If he helps us finish 6th instead of 16th, then that's an extra £7.5M, so enough to buy him.
Saw something yesterday with the £750k figure per place mentioned, still a huge sum of money that makes it an incentive to the lads to get the highest position possible.

yep, thats the problem with loans, i remember joe hart went to birmingham for the season and was outstanding, he went there as a reserve and came back good enough to play for a team fighting for top 4. i also remember one of the brum coaches complaining that they'd made him a better player and they dont benefit from developing....well thats loans for you, you get sigurdsson scoring goals for you, but if you dont agree a set fee then you are putting a player in the shop window, and thats what could happen unfortunately...
I hate it when fans say 'you heard it here first' without saying where they got the information from or even if it's reliable. Just gives the rest of us false hope imo. I've done it a couple of times and have said that the source that I got the information from wasn't particularly reliable so fans knew where they stood. Norway's posts on this subject are probably made in hope rather than him having any substantial grounds. I just wish he'd say so - or refute what I'm saying. On a more positive note, Rodgers did almost let the cat out of the bag on Goals on Sunday that Siggy wants to come here but stopped himself in time. I recorded it and replayed it a few times so I'm sure.
