Following on from AllHell’s ‘This has to stop’ thread… For me one of the things that make this forum is the fact that it’s pretty much ‘self regulating’. A blissful place with no over the top moderators pulling threads and posts for no apparent reason, a common occurrence that used to drive me loopy whilst using the BBC’s 606 site. It's for this reason that I consider it a great shame that AllHell's hand has been forced to take such a drastic course of action. In the main those who frequent this forum are sensible people who are able to use their own common sense to define where boundaries are. People who are capable of using self restraint in order to prevent themselves from overstepping said undefined boundaries. You need to appreciate that AllHell is not a paid up member of staff working as a moderator on behalf of Not 606; he is simply one of us. A fellow Charlton supporter who puts himself out in order to ensure the enjoyment of his fellow Charlton fans whilst they’re using this forum. I’m sure he could well do without clearing up after you ever five minutes. So for the love of humanity give the fella a break will you and do as you are asked… I make no apology for singling you out. The fact of the matter is that all this grief in relation to pulling posts was not an issue whatsoever prior to you pitching up on here. I respect your right to use this or any other forum you so wish. However, all I ask is that you respect the views of your fellow Charlton fans and rain yourself in from time to time. I sincerely hope this penetrates your dome of ivory, because I fear you’re beginning to grate on people. If you behave yourself, I might even buy your bloody book… .
A fine post, Franco. Well done on behalf of all CAFC not606ers. It is a fair post with no spite; just a fair reflection of how the majority feel and of course a generous nod to the good work that AllHell puts in to the running of this board. By the way, 'dome of ivory' is great. I love that one.
i will behave myself and thanks for agreeing buy the book ....as i said i just email only now and then sensible stuff ive learnt my lesson i was just trying non footy stuff like other forums do i didnt realise their was another section to post that in but do now,

I will admit I am one of Senor Acworth's harshest critics. After sifting through some of the threads posted on our board has slightly dented my enthusiasm for the forum, and as a result I don't post as much as I probably would. This is the best forum I have come across, but it is a shame that it is being ruined for me. I applaud you Franco, and think AllHell deserve a HELL of a lot of credit.
Guys, what's the story with this lad? He's just pitched up on the QPR board thinking we'll sign Shawcross, Parker and Hangelaand if we bid for them (like they'd come to little old us!) and that we'll finish above Arsenal! I wish...... Ps, good luck for the season guys.
i only see what i think is good for clubs these two in showacross and hangerland want to move to big clubs so i see qpr being big club with new take over so why not be perfect for them what u lot think?
