It may be imagination but things seem to be getting a little heated on here today with Sunderland fan against Sunderland fan with strong views and opinions turning into name calling and personal insults. If I am responsible for any bad feeling let me apologise to anyone I may have unintentialy upset or insulted, it was never my intention and I promise if I ever do intend to upset or insult anyone there will be no confusion about my intention. I think it was cest who said that emotion can run high when talking about the club we all love and how true that is. We all will have a wide range of opinions on the management, players leaving, players coming, team selection and tactics and I donât see us all ever agreeing on everything. I think its also fair to say that in most thing we tend to fall into two camps and then we find even in those camps we again vary in opinion. I personal donât see it as packs or cliques its just some of us are mouthier than others, some enjoy posting threads others prefer to comment on threads, again no right or wrong. It upsets me when I see things get to the personal abuse level because usually we regret it the next day but we really are like a big family on here and we will always have fall outs. After the poor end to last season we found ourselves in three camps, Bruce out, Bruce in and Bruce on trial for now. We then sell Henderson and next day the rumours come out about Gyan so we are all feeling very fragile right now. The fact that other clubs have bigger problems is of no comfort, its our club that we care about and we can only hope that over the coming days and weeks things will fall into place and we can again enjoy looking ahead. This thread is not aimed at anyone, excusing or accusing anyone. Its not me a mod trying to lecture or patronise anyone. Its me a Sunderland fan saying sorry to other Sunderland fans if I have upset or insulted you and asking for us all to help each other by agreeing with those we agree with, debating with those we disagree with and ignoring everyone we feel like fighting with but doing it all with respect.
It's a hot day syd people need to remember to keep their heads covered and lay off the booze erm. . . . . well keep their heads covered.
we all have our opinions and loose it at times but we all want the same outcome our big club to be back there and become a top team again
As I will literally be pissing blood for the next couple of weeks, alcohol is off the menu. But I will always stand by my view, no one, manager, owner, chairman or overpaid player is bigger than my club. SAFC you either love em or absolutely love em.
I took a bit of time out from the forum after the Hendo/N'gog story broke. I had hoped thing's would have settled by now, seem's I was wrong. I see we have now descended into backbiting and personal insult's, looks like another couple of day's off the board for me.
