First of all we beat QPR at home 2-0 then we see Man city imploding and losing 1-0 away to Arsenal, with 6 games to go i can see us winning the title by a record points total, i must give the players credit for the way they bounced back form that 6-1 defeat at home to our local rivals they could've rolled over and not perform but they have been tremendous over the last 3 months and credit must go to the manager for staying with the players and guding us to the top of the table Happy easter everyone.
NOT corrupt.....just inept. If a lino at my son's U13s games had missed that he would have been ridiculed!! Only explanation can be that he was SCARED to give it!!
I don't think people are saying that at all. We'll never know what would have happened with an even playing field but I think people who have seen their team robbed like that in the position we're in are likely to be very aggrieved. If the exact same thing had happened to United and they went on to lose the ref would be lynched.
Actually my perfect end to a perfect day came at about 12:30am when Bubba Watson won the Masters and netted me a cool £270 I ****ing love Super Sunday Nah, Chelsea are the ones who send refs death threats and force them to retire. In fact the exact same thing did happen to Utd against Chelsea last season. And the ref wasn't lynched. He was been promoted to second top ref in the Premier League. It's frustrating when any ref or linesman makes an error like that, but that's football. Players make errors, managers make errors, officials make errors. And errors often decide games for and against all teams.
Glad you had a good day Swarbs and well done with the bet. What you say about people making errors is true but when you get two go in your favour in successive home games (Fulham and QPR) people are bound to point the finger. I can point you to many decisions that have cost us points this season. If you had had our luck you probably wouldnt be where you are. SWP goal dissallowed v WBA when one up, clearly onside. Barton sent off v Norwich by two officials that didnt even see the incident. Ball two foot over the line at Bolton but the linesman didnt see it. Derry red carded after a dive by Ashley Young who was clearly offside. I am sure my fellow Rangers supporters can think of more, there have been so many. How many have you had?
Incorrect penalty against Newcastle when Rio won the ball Gary Cahill not sent off for a tackle from behind on Welbeck away to Chelsea Penalty not given for a foul on Welbeck away against Fulham Dempsey elbowed Jones in the face away at Fulham and it wasn't even a foul One penalty that definitely should have been given at home to Stoke and another one that could have been given Adam free kick against Rio for the barest of touches against Liverpool Penalty not given for a foul on Hernandez away to Stoke Ashley Cole not sent off for a stud lunge on Hernandez home to Chelsea We could argue that those decisions cost us six points, but ultimately we still did enough to get something from all of those games, and can't claim we really deserved more than we got from Stoke and Chelsea away. The Fulham one is a particularly good example - we should have had a clear penalty at Craven Cottage, which was much more blatant than the one Fulham had turned down at OT. But we still won the game 5-0, so the decision is conveniently ignored, whilst the one at OT is held up as evidence that we cheat / bribe / get all the decisions.
Nah Swarbs these decisions only ever happen in our minds after all, the officials have been paid off by SAF.
Because we're top and on our way to winning number 20. (which apparently all have been won by cheating)
