I didn't write this...! QUOTE 'On the other hand QPR were signing some big names like Zamora and Onuoha. And my instant reaction was, that I thought they would make their way out of the relegation zone fairly quickly and even overtake us. I was also being "assured" from my QPR supporting mate that this would happen due to the "stellar" signings that they had made during the transfer window. Boy has Tony Fernandez got it all wrong! Look at us now, almost safe, QPR loosing week in week out. It's looking bad for QPR now, all that stands between them almost certain bankruptcy in the championship is the 3 teams below them that have shown that they are experts in dodging the bullet season after season.'
There fans have been in this division 7 months and everything in the garden is rosey. They will fail to attract major signings because of there geographical position,Paul Lambert will be lured away to bigger club and like all newley promoted clubs there first season is there best. If we get relegated this season, and I think we will, Norwich and Swansea will be odds on to get relegateD next season. Unfortunately for them major stars do not want to live in the "sticks".That has always been there problem. We will be back, they might not.
They were all saying we were gonna do a Portsmouth and go bankrupt when we get relegated. Well they look to be in the exact same position as Reading a couple years back
They do not have the financial clout of a TF or a Mittal. They are jealous of that, they know what potential we have at this club. Life wont get any better for them than it is now.
The price of the club has risen so much after TF bought it. So,if there is a new owner he must be loaded also. I doubt it very much.
I just dont see that. When we won the league and Mittal walked around the ground at the end with everybody singing his name,it doesnt matter how much money youve got,you cant buy that.He was as proud as punch to be out there celebrating with us.Would be really surprised if they sell up.
Jealous! Haha, spat out my drink at that. Believe me, we are NOT jealous of QPR. It doesn't seem to bother you at all that you have, shall we say, dubious foreign backers (one of whom we turned away incidentally). We're quite happy how we are, and with living within our means. It's working ok at the moment. Is it sustainable? Time will tell, we'll still support them. It may be my imagination, it may just be it's all new to you, but you do seem to be the least knowledgable (and most obnoxious) set of fans I've encountered on here.
The gloating is to be expected, sadly, we've made it easy for them. Their time will come, sooner rather than later I suspect...
Apart from me a few I totally agree We as a set of fans have lost it IMO We are not relegated until we are and the fools on here are in fact jealous of both Norwich's and Swansea's success. I believe we will survive and once stability cuts in we should be a very strong team in this division We are the product of our own poor judgement and combined with a pile of bad luck we find ourselves in a position with a new team without a driving spirit ... Gamble with our failure at your own peril is the way I see it as when we come it will be from the soul as a wounded lion . Even now there are signs that we are playing and apologies but the fickle can't see that yet ... But they will It's natural to poke at the money we have but when you reinvent yourself it takes time and there is no doubt in my mind Queens Park Rangers will sustain their place in England's top flight. Best of luck
I have to say that it does worry me that the teams below and the team above us are experts at dodging the drop.
Your board is this way.... http://www.not606.com/forumdisplay.php/48-Norwich-City Or press that 'X' in the Corner of your browser
Fail to attract major signings? Like Joey Barton and Moussa Dembele? We're doing fine with them. And lure Paul Lambert to a bigger club? Outside the top 6 the only bigger clubs (Admittedly everyone except Swansea) then us are place below us on the league, so it would be a sideways move at best for Lambo. And why would we be odds on to get relegated next season? Every season under Lambert we have improved massively, so they only way is up for us, which is more than I can say for you guys! Oh and; God Norwich ****ing hates you.
Actually, it's an open forum, that's the beauty of it. I'm sure you have forums where only QPR fans are allowed. If that's your thing, great. I'm just discussing in a polite manner, I'm not wumming (as many of your lot do) - if a moderator wishes me to leave then so be it. I'd wish you good luck and leave. We are in the same league, we were rivals last year (you came out better, remember?) so if we can't have a bit of banter without resorting to insults, it's a shame.
Oh, and for the record the irony being one of your cockney lot must of gone our board to find the OP in the first place!
