I know it is only after one game but we look to have a bit of a selection headache in the middle of the park, which is good given the hectic xmas schedule but what i want to know is who would everyone play next week against Newcastle. We have:

Allen - Taken to this level like a duck to water.

Britton - Great engine and integral to us playing the way we play

Gower - Solid player and "most creative player in Europe"

Agustien - Only played a couple of mins today but oozed class and ability. Unlucky not to score and not to have an assist added to his name with a pinpoint perfect pass to Graham

Moore - Went to the press to get more time. Got it. Scored, started and had a very good game and wasnt afraid to shoot from distance which was nice to see

Dobbie - Hasnt played much this season but he has got a creative spark but there must be something behind the scenes we dont know about for him not to be getting more gametime

Personally I would like to have a look at Agustien, Allen (Is his ban up??) and Moore next week. Give Britton a rest, you can't really drop Moore as he is providing something a bit different in the 1 and a half games he has played and Agustien as I think he is just generally a better player than Gower.

    Thought??

Dobbie, well as much as i love him its clear to see that he is not in the thinking of Brenden at this time. When you compare the minutes of Luke Moore and Dobbie there is no comparison is there?

Luke got his chance at Blackburn and took it .
Moore has better control and touch than dobbie and has more pace and strength.

I think these are the reasons that dobbie doesnt figure, the guys in front of him look as if they have more in the locker at this level.

Hopefully Dobbie can get a start or sub appearence and get a goal or give a performance but the limited time ive seen him play this season he looks out of his depth .

I wouldnt dream of transfering dobbie, he may still play a part this season and our squad isnt exactly over capacity is it !! we also have to think about next season if we get relegated, we know dobbie can do the buisness at that level and he would be very handy to have around bearing in mind that relegation would mean alot of our current squad might want to try and stay in the prem league.

If we stay up then maybe we could look at it, dobbie hasnt had much chance yet but his time may still come ;)

Gower & Monk's minutes will drop off now IMO but what a job they did when options were at a minimum . Monk playing injured himself when called upon & Gower's with most of our assists himself was a job well done by both & they will be ready when called on upon again ,I'm sure .
