Seemingly Leeds will pocket a tidy sum of 760,000 pounds from televised games this season. TV not all bad it seems
Based on an average ticket price of £37, which would equate to 20,000 fans. What are the chances that throughout all of Leeds home games they would have had a total of 20,000 less fans as the matches were televised
Doubtful I’d say given we had lots of full houses for those televised games. I should know as I was comfortable in my armchair for them all
Seeing the club accounts will either prove Chippy wrong or right, and I have to say that after spending hours every year since Bates took over watching how he was feeding his offshore shell accounts, Radz will need to be good to get it past some of us old hands. The sharpest knife in the box is Mike Thornton who knows his stuff. He even took a hammering last week from some Leeds fans who didnt like actual facts. These gobshyte fans were so up themselves they thought they knew it all, but when Mike pointed out the errors they decided to abuse him and troll his family. Believe it or not it was because the YEP had asked him to look at the accounts for Elenora Sports and how Cellino could make half a million profit on the sale to Radz. The accounts clearly showed that Leeds would pay this money to Cellino over 9 years so only £55k per year which was all part of the deal. I dont think we will see a club being raped or have offshore accounts and shell companies. You will see some tax efficient strategies but not to rip the club off. You wont see profits being posted every year which in turn relate to player sales. I imagine we will see the accounts in good health, with profits coming in from merchandise, marketing, hospitality, bar and catering, with a loss in player trading. We will have income coming in over a number of years for Byram, Wood, Taylor as those deals were spread over a period. We may also see some sell on fees coming in for Rose etc. The way we are being dodgy with overseas loans and kids being sent to Middle East set up is to beat football financial fair play rules, so love it. However much needs explaining. Remember that Radz bought the stadium with his own cash not the clubs so that GFH couldnt demand a % of the value. What Radz does with the stadium is another thing, but we wont be paying rent as we have done so will see that benefit in the accounts too Finance is boring isnt it
Klich had another top game and was on the losing side for the first time since he got there. He was Utrechts second top marked player on the day and if you look at the stats for the game Utrecht had 63% possession but PSV have better strikers and why they are a mile away at the top of the league. Utrecht still clear in 4th place and Klich still a fans favorite. Twice been in the leagues team of the week. We may have been shafted by Tommy but too late now as the stupid cnut cried over not having many 1.8mt players ..... how tall is Klich 1.8mts. Would Klich have been worse that Phillips or O'Kane? No point in arguing again I have my opinion
