So we're starting a new season and again I'm not able to listen to the radio. In order to pick up express FM I have to sit in the car, which I'm not going to do. And because of broadcast rights I'm unable to listen via online. Just as well I'm disillusioned with football and not going to go to great lengths just to listen to the matches.
If you're prepared to pay the 4 and a half quid a month you've got PFC TV which live streams the commentary...
Some of the matches are covered on the BBC local radio stations. Yesterday's wasn't, but usually I find I can log into the station local to the team we're playing and listen to the match commentary. When we're beating the opposition it's a real laugh. I don't know how much the broadcast licences cost but am guessing they are really expensive knowing how much I had to fork out for 2 licences when I had a small shop.
--------------------------------------------- I'm pretty sure I nipped out of Wickham Festival yesterday to listen to the Pompey game live on Radio Solent !?!?!? Or was it the effect of those rather nice 'cakes' on sale around the site.....
