Now that he is playing for a decent team, Joe Cole looks like he is going to be a very good midfielder for the Hammers. <ok>

Any bets on tiki taka Rodgers bidding to take him back to the miserable scousers?

There is always a ******ed miserable scouser who rises to the bait <laugh>

The other key question for all is (like Tom) how many millions will the ******ed scousers be paying west ham to buy him back?

    1. £5 million
    2. £10 million
    3. £20 million
    4. £40 million
    5. > £40 million

The irony of the scousers comment. As he wouldn't have found this article if he wasn't obsessed with us.

I don't think Joe Cole will do alot for West Ham this season, I think yesterday was just a rare good game for him:biggrin:

The scousers had to pay off £3 million pounds to get West Ham to take him. So he was not only a free transfer, he was a freebie with a huge part of his vast salary sorted by the scousers. Now we can see him doing a good job for his new team.

What is it about the scousers that players who they get rid of go on to increase their value? <ok>

This. If there's one area the scousers have continually succeeded at over the last five years, it's getting their players to play out of their skin against Utd, and utterly **** against almost all other teams. I reckon Joe Messi has been there just long enough to have developed that unique skill.
