I've just noticed a coupla 'flags' which have appeared to the left of the Facebook button at the top of my page. One button says: 'Click here to publicly +1 this' and the other has had as high as the number 4 on it: '4 people +d this'.

    Whassitallmean?

No idea. I'm pretty much at the point where I want to take myself off facebook although I've been told it''s pretty much impossible.

Time for Murdoch to buy the new and improved NotW? Why don't the giant corporations just complete our transition to 1984 and tell us what they want us to think/buy?

    Looks dead easy to me:

Account menu (at the top right)
    Account Settings
Bottom of the settings tab (the one it should load automatically) is a bit that says deactivate account. I would have thought you click that and follow the instructions.
