Der!
Personally, I am REALLY pleased that we seem to have stopped letting players go on the cheap and chucking money at clubs and agents whilst signing mediocre players in general. For the past 4 or five seasons we have been mugged off by both sellers and buyers. This season however, Sir Les and CR appear to have got a grip.

Let's hope this new age sends out a message that we will no longer get ripped of by anyone.

Let's hope so Sheff, but it's a bit early to say. So far we have (probably) paid Taarabt to go, and allegedly turned down a couple of bids for Phillips and Austin. Let's see what we get for them if and when they go.

Good points SB. Personally I think if we get anything over £15 million for the pair it would be good business.

Agreed Stan, but I think we have drawn a line in the sand with our reaction to the 'offers' for Austin and Phillips. Last season we would have caved in at the earliest moment. We are QPR and we have grown balls!!!

We tried to play hardball with AC Milan over Taarabt, and ended up royally screwed, left with what turned out to be a worthless asset. Let's hope the new CEO and Les have a clear idea of value, and don't blink first. It'll be fun(ish) to find out. Worst comes to the worst we still have some of these players until at least January, and CR gets to motivate them.
