I’ve been doing some SFL/SPL/SFA type research and it appears to be clear that if we kick Rangers again and again until they fall down to SFL3, then the game is dead in Scotland.

The people pushing for further punishments for Rangers, on top of the mandatory 10 point deduction and their imaginary European ban for 3 seasons - are nothing but bigots, and anyone who disagrees is a bigot too because someone else said so (several people actually).

Imagine the horrendous impact that will be felt if the bottom six teams in the SPL don’t get their potential home game against Rangers? Can you imagine it? No? Well let me spell it out for you.

Up to 5,000 pies will be left unsold, uneaten and they will probably have to be reheated and sent to homeless people up and down Scotland, the transport costs for the movement of these pies alone would be horrendous, and don’t forget the cost of moving around 5,000 Bovrils too.

But that’s just the tip of the Iceberg, the impact on the Scottish retail sector will be massive, Macaroon bar and spearmint chewing gum sales will likewise tumble like…erm, like a team falling 3 divisions. It could take years for Wrigleys and Lees to recover from this retail Armageddon.

Enamel badge and Rangers scarf sales will likewise drop off drastically so Asian sweatshop owners will be punished even though none of this was their fault, they too have a right to ask “Why are we being punished, we were not to blame”.

Why should all these young homeless street urchins be stopped from dossing down under a giant dangerous, pointy machine just because HMRC did not fully comprehend that Rangers’ EBT scheme was completely legal and above board, has Hector no shame, no compassion?

Rangers have been punished enough, we should just draw a line under the hole sordid affair and let them take up their rightful place in the SPL because that’s the best thing for Scottish Football, whether we like it or not, and whether you agree or not, Scotland needs a Strong Rangers otherwise those mhanky Taig bastards will win everything and that’s just no fair.

For a nice change of pace why don't we all say nice things about Rangers?

Then we can all go for a nice curry.

Nice things about Rangers. There, I've said it ... doesn't change anything though - still not breathing - in fact, dead as a dodo. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Being serious for a moment I think the most likely outcome for us at the moment is that we won't be playing anywhere next season. The season starts in 4 weeks and the SFA/SPL/SFL are still dicking about. The ****in gutless SFA.

So, the Rangers are on their holidays for a year.

Considering Newco have mostly only youngsters left to play for them, that's not the worst possible outcome and this holiday club should cater for them nicely. :emoticon-0105-wink:
