Its not that often I can be heading into work at the start of the week with a smile as big as a Cheshire cat on my face. Full of optimism for next weeks match,being able to enjoy talking about how we turned over another scalp in the top half of the table.Lets hope it continues next Sunday to give us greater hope of staying in this league. I really feel if we manage it we can really push on and definitely have a better season than this one not hard I know but to stay up wiLL be as big as last season promotion FACT.
Our first back to back wins of the season at the bridge. How big will that smile be next Monday MS? ( Btw, how comes your a 999 as well? )
Yeah. Always happens after a win dunnit? Those nice thoughts of triumphant hoops alternating with the challenges of the working week.
Yeah I am certainly going to enjoy it....Two of my workmates are Spuds. After the game at the Lane I had to put up with the pity of "how could we expect to win against a team of gods such as Modric, Bale, Parker, VDW". How they played so beautifully and could score at will....yudder, yudder. All the condescending comments about we played quite well and we might do okay against lesser teams. I bet I don't see them today
