Now do not get you hopes up I will not be doing this for everyone...and I do not condone the sort of thing that I am about to do., at all ........but I am going to make an exception with myself. Today it is QPR999s birthday it is one of the biggy birthdays and a very momentous day as it is the day that 999s retires from the London Fire Service. This is a huge day...and I would like to wish him a very happy birthday from me (and from all on the board too). I would like to thank him as a (ex) Londoner for all his and his comrades service to keeping London (and kittens up trees) safe. I wish him a great day, and a great retirement doing whatever he wants (including walking his new puppy....picture needed here Rich). I wish you many years of health, happiness and enjoyment (following the RRRRs that may not be entirely possible) All the best Rich. XX
Happy birthday and congratulations on you're retirement. Highly deserved, I've no doubt. A life changing and re-defining period for you I imagine. Enjoy it mate.
Fantastic account Beth. A true Ranger and those of us who have met him know what a great guy and true gent our 999's is. Wishing 999's a great day and long and happy retirement.
Very many happy returns Mate. You can always sign up for anther 5 years?!! Hearty congrats on all counts. Dead jealous as still a few years to go though one should not wish one's life away.
Happy 50th 999's and best of luck with your retirement. I am sure it is well deserved. As you are about to become a house husband, any chance of ironing a few shirts for us?
Have a great day Rich, I'm hugely jealous that a youngster can retire, mind thoroughly well deserved after all the years of service......I'll raise a glass to you this evening.....
Thank you Beth, that's very kind of you. Thanks also to everyone else who has sent their best wishes. I can't think what else to say, I'm lost for words.
Happy Birthday nines. A great contributor to this forum and the voice of reason on many occasions. Have a great day and a long and happy retirement!
