I have been reading through the Malaysian airline thread and I can't help but recognise familiar traits to general qpr threads - a lack of information - assumptions being made on information to hand - changes in mindset when information is available - no idea what is happening All of the above is true in both cases. I am not looking to stop debate but what I can't understand is wild assumptions continually being made based on the smallest of information, we need to step back and where possible enjoy the reason we support qpr After Alex Stock day a lot of fans at the ground and everywhere are yearning for days of old, I agree they were great days (I wasnt there as not old enough) but what is the real change; the change isn't the football, the change isn't the money, the change is the fans. Yes there are many reasons to this like logistics of travel and expenses but the fundamental thing which made qpr was the fan base. I truly believe that qpr is a family club, we can move this club forward if we stick together and no matter what is happening sing a little bit more. Not a rallying call but been reading site for ages and thought would post Come on u super....
Be fair - nobody has solid information - not even the searchers and the authorities. Would you stop them from talking about it as well? Or are you another incarnation of the poster whose sole purpose in life is to stop all OT threads? I have no evidence of that - aside from your post above. This is a community of people who chat about stuff. We're not all experts, but we all have opinions, and they are all valid. So if you are OK with it (or even if you're not) I'm going to carry on posting extravagant and verbose posts about subjects I know little - or more often nothing - about....
Time, Players, People change. Forgive me if I carry on discussing points of interests with like minded folk. If we were to restrict ourselves to merely disscusing topics where the club has seen fit to disseminate a plethora propganda, Whats left. I know, the ladies team. why don't you start a forum on them the media team love 'em for some reason? or maybe suggest a suitable subject for debate. But welcome anyway, all non-extremist views are welcome here, even yours. Radical isn't it.
Do you suggest that nobody posts on the thread until they know what happened then ? Maybe we shouldn't discuss promotion or the playoffs before the season has finished
