To be honest all this 'banter' is getting very same old, same old. Its the same old abuse rattled out again and again. (yes by me too!) but its getting very boring.

Certain threads are being ruined for people that want to discuss things a bit more seriously and I think they should be able to have a platform to do that. I dont have any problems with the sag boys, but like I say, boring.. besides I look at the number of guests who follow threads at the bottom and its probably scaring them off from signing up.


I for one think you are doing a fantastic job and yes, it is time for a clean up..

 

As I said before Wiz, 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' so carry on mate. Yes there has been an influx of rovers 'fans' posting on here in the last few days, but what has made it worse is there has been no wit included, I have read childish trash from cjs of whom I had thought had shown a form of intellectual humor in the past and the latest remedial to start spouting off **** showing signs of a learning disability is spunky. We are City fans, rovers isn't a word you would normally use in your house, so I don't get all this buisness of City fans sitting on the fence so called applauding holloway.... wtf.... turning soft? We hate the rovers, we should be telling the manipulating little ****er to **** off, infact if I bumped into him I'd give him so real stick.. like this

i just went on their board(which took 20 minutes to scroll down to).. every single one of their threads mentions City or has something city related in.. to say their obsessed is a bit of an understatement.. I think their happy just to talk to us

 

They are happy to have communication with any humans...

 

Canada has always supported you wize and I hold you in high regard especially when certain individuals, who don't understand what respect is, come on our board for the sole purpose of slagging you, and others, off with totally inane remarks.

Since the loss of BBC 606 I believe that yourself and others have done a remarkable job in getting not606 running. It's a credit, not just to your dedication to the site, but to your love of our Bristol City Football Club.

Keep it up mate and you will always have my support!

Posted a long time ago, might have been on the old606, that I could not understand why you kept replying to CJS. He is totally false.
I could NEVER be a mod as I'd delete EVERY Sag comment which I know would go against the very idea of Forums.
I hope Wiz you carry on with Angelic, the time you have put into this site has been unbelievable and you deserve great credit.

3, Get a grip lads. This is all getting a bit over-dramatic and Merchant and Ivory-esque. It's a bloody football forum, not the Royal Courts of Justice or Hansard. I know that you're going through a rough patch, but please lighten up.....

first of all, i think wiz you are the best person from your side to have become a mod over here and i for one hope you remain. you were and still are the most respected red (in my opinion) on this forum due to your history that you have with us going back to bbc606 and now on here not606. reason why i hold you in such high regards, and i believe i speak for most if not all gasheads, is because you have a good sense of humour with us gas. you have shown up down the years on our boards giving banter and have shown up on our boards taking banter. you got yourself involved with us and as a result had a good laugh. this may have been on rovers/city threads and also on topics/discussions which wasnt even to do with football like on chris's word association thread for example. you must admit we have had some very good laughs. sometimes its been at your expense which you laugh along and some at my expense and most of the time it ends up being at chris's expense. with all this in mind, you get what were about. you know we are harmless and its just banter, nothing else. nothing has really changed from what we all got up to from bbc606, which is why i was very happy that you became a mod on here as you can easily tolerate us more than most as you know us and been around us pretty much daily down the years and in away one of us but a red. i for one hope you stay as a mod as you are well respected from your own fellow fans and from us gas.

2nd of all, i do think though that this whole thing has been blown way out of proportion which im sure you will disagree with. we certainly do not post on every thread. take a look at your board. my thread about the football league show after your latest defeat which was a wum. your ollie is a twat thread which you know would get attention from us. that was it. then all of a sudden you make your special gashead thread about asking for votes to ban us. i seriously still dont know where that thread came from (im not asking you to justify it either by the way ). i can only guess that as city lost and you seen a wum thread by me and then you see a few rovers fans stick up for ollie on your the ollie twat thread, to me and the rest of us gas, it looked like you were being bitter (thats how it looked, sorry if its not the case but see it from our side) so you tried to get rid of us by getting a vote on banning us. the fact that you are the number 1 wummer against rovers (which we enjoy by the way) doing your banning thread obviously stirred things up with us (considering the way it looked, again sorry if that wasnt the case). since that thread of yours, only 2 other threads have been made which was chris's wum at you about banning city fans which i could see wouldnt go down too well and spunkys wum (shinys best mate) where there were a lot of banter on there. no other threads has been touched in a wum way. so again i think this whole thing has been blown out of proportion. other threads on your board which has comments on from myself have been respectful / constructive. its being made out that we are on every thread wumming ruining it for your board when thats far from the truth.

im sure if you think about it and be honest, you will understand where im coming from. well i hope you can see it from how it looks from my end anyway . if not then im honestly sorry you feel the way you do. i have and im sure no other gas on here have any intentions to make you feel or anyone else feel the way you do.

end of the day, rovers do crap (nothing unusual) and we get wums. city do crap so you get wums back. thats what happens. think over the years rovers have tolerated much more than what were currently dishing out. your team is going through a bad patch and relegation may be on the cards. you get some wums from us and here we are today. thats why your getting comments such as bitter as thats what it seriously looks like. last season we were in as relegation battle and got relegated and 1st time ever 2 leagues apart. we got ripped by you lot. now a couple of threads in last few days about your season and look whats happened?

i personally get on with everyone from your side. those who take things seriously like alandicks and onefor plus many more (cant name everyone) i have just as much respect for them as i do to those who i reply to the most who are involved with the banter. the last thing i want is anyone to be put off from your board, this forum or this site. like you i want this site to succeed wiz

if your less tolerant of me or any other gas then instead of us trying to read your minds that you had enough of us and only find out about it when your doing a thread to ban us, please just tell us when we crossed that line. i for one would stop straight away. then things like this would have been avoided. im telling you what to do. im just giving ideas out to avoid situations like this again so things can remain active and flowing

i know you dont like me wiz. im not upset about that. its just the internet. not bothered really if you like me or not. for the record, i do like you wiz even if you dont believe it. i wont lie, i have enjoyed last few days as its about time we are able to laugh at citys expense even if we are still in league 2. things like bcfc_red saying bombfire in particular gave me the most laugh.

i hope you can understand my comment and see where im coming from on some things insread of just dismissing it as that would be a shame. i would like to offer a olive branch and to start again and be how we use to be i dont know if you can remember wiz but not so long ago i looked on your forum and saw a few threads closed by yourself and i missed what happened, i PM you asking if you were ok. you replied back but my point now is yeah i like to wum like majority do but also i have shown you that we can get along.

I think we may be looking at it from the wrong angle, I think this may explain the sags obsession with being on this board (coupled with the fact there is no one on theirs!)
