... those as old as me will remember that us 'gearing up' for the Prem way back was the sole signing of Mark Draper for about £2 million from Notts County ... didn't play for ages due, allegedly, to having picked up a dose of the clap that made physical activity 'difficult' ... needless to say, even when he was fit and ready, we were doomed ...

... we now have by far the best 'squad' I've ever seen at the club ... cracking players to cover every position and formation ... in stark contrast to Brian Little's 'cunning plan' of 3 centre halves for every position <laugh>

... really looking forward to the start of the season ... no doubt we will put in an underwhelming first day performance and lose to an average looking Sunderland ... but that's just life being a Leicester fan ... every reason to think that it will come good, given this squad, and we will continue on our 'progressive' journey ...

    Bring it on! <grr>

Bring it on indeed. Not only am I looking forward to seeing the new signings but also the progression of players like Schlupp, Mahrez, Vardy Kramaric and Albrighton. Now filled with self belief these guys could become real Premier League stars.
