Okay, so my father-in-law and I got to talking before the match today about man-management. He is MD of a local business and he was saying about what a challenge it would be to manage football players as apposed to regular employees. It got me to thinking about creating a fantasy team of the most difficult but talented footballers in the leagues. I would have to put Mario "why always me" Balotelli and Carlos "AFK" Tevez up front, with possibly a sub appearance from Luis "I'm a racist?" Suarez. Joey "addicted to twitter" Barton would make the midfield. Can you think of some more?
How about Michael "Addicted to gambling then on an all night bender with jimmy bullard" Chopra with Fernando "My heads not right" Torres on the bench lol like the concept
vietnam - oh ye of very few posts! Keep them coming like that and you will become a legend! Yellows - I take it you mean from players of now, not of yesteryear! In which case my dementia fuelled photographic memory of things long since passed will do me no good at all!
Nice Beef. Excellent vietnamcanary and nice to meet you. Add whoever you like, Dave. I don't see why we shouldn't have a few golden oldies in a fantasy team.
Thanks Yellows! Gary "don't shoot while I'm not looking" Sprake in goal Eric "wait while I karate kick a seagull" Cantona Rodney "I'll drag my trailing leg" Marsh Stan "likes a bet" Bowles
Andy "Sectarian sociopath with split personality disorder and gambling addiction" Goram - one of my favourite chants was "there's only two Andy Gorams" Diego "coke fiend" Maradonna The dutch national team of the late 80's/early 90's - collective genius despite pretty much hating each others guts France 2010 World Cup - so many talented cry babies in one dressing room working for a coach who believed in horoscopes Goerge Best - enough said
Gary "I'll call the whole team on strike if you don't let my mate play for missing s drug test" Neville
Hi, Yellows. Nice to meet you, too. Dave, I don't post much because I don't feel I really have much to contribute, being out here in Vietnam. But I come on and look almost every day to find out what's going on and how the team are really playing. So this is my chance to say hello to all the names I've got to know on here. Now we're Prem, I can get to see most of the matches these days (if the streaming is OK), which is great. And I bore everyone at work with Canary talk every Monday, especially if we win. One more win and we are definitely safe. Sometimes I still can't believe it and I think I'm going to wake up and find out the last two and a half years has all been a dream.
Hi VC. The binners haven't got a lot to contribute on these boards either, but it doesn't stop them Post whatever you want wherrever you want. Always good to see and hear new canaries
