So, it seems Marco Silva is about to appointed our new manger. It's unlikely that a manager like him is coming in without the guarantee of some funds being made available, so I'd expect that this means we're now looking at more than a couple of loans? Is this an Allam appointment, or is the rumour of an impending sale true and this is our new owners appointment? Or am I just overly optimistic?
Got a feeling this was lined up sometime ago, no contact with the toxic two over a transfer budget that the reason I think MP was a dead man walking, bet Silva knows what his budget is.

I I was wondering if they had been planning to get rid of him for a while , or if he spoke out of turn to them in relation to funds .... Might have said please could we have a meeting to discuss funds , or something along those lines to offend them
Is he one of those managers that brings in players from previous clubs? If so are there any that have followed him from one club to another? He won't have long to assess the squad and decide on what's required.
Just the latest rumour. Yesterday it was that Phelan would be gone today and a takeover would be completed this month. Although one half came true prematurely, I'm still not getting too excited about the other bit.

I just hope your optimism is right, I can't see that this is an Allam choice of manager, so let's hope this is true. Having said that would they make this appointment if the fit and proper persons checks have not been done, or has that already taken place?
