A lot of fuss about nothing?

The headbutt by Fellaini on Ryan Shawcross yesterday.

To me that is still not a headbutt, yes it is head contact but if I was to headbutt someone I would pull my head back before going forward with real pace.

To me Shawcross has made the most of it and Fellaini was not sent off although he should have been for the intent, (can be could be argued Shawcross should have been sent off for his theatrics) but if you read the Stoke board you would think he killed Shawcross.

What do you guys reckon?

I agree shWcross made the most of it, they were having a running battle all game
Motd and shearer made the most of it too ( and found it painful to congratulate our win btw!)
Trouble is Thai with cameras now he's been to head but / punch the guy 3 times and it's all over the tv replays
Loved the way how angry moyes was
Maybe the stokies don't like a bit of rough and tumble in their own backyard

I think Shawcross did make the most of it to a extent. But at least he didn't fall to the floor as if he had been shot and then spend ages on the floor!

 

I think it was a blatant head butt with force. I think Shawcross made less of it than many others would (Johnson, Tierney... ahem).

Sorry, I have to go now, defending Stoke has made me feel quite ill.

 

I hate Stoke. They cheat, foul, dive, try to take the other team out, and then whinge whinge whinge when it happens to them.

 

He also punched shawcross as well as moving his head into face I.e a fecking headbutt

i personally thought his behaviour was appalling and he will probably be on the end of at least a six game ban now. it could totally screw up everton's season. what a plonker. he'd surely have been right up there this season as one of the players of the year... not so sure now.

 

Agree. Very talented player, doesn't need to do this. After the ban, will have one hell of a reputation. Joey Barton with an Afro.
