Let's not deny it, ok? For the first time in years I would accept a draw. Of course, if we win, then the good times are back and it could launch the team on an incredible run...
They've just got two great results. In the liverpool game they played brilliantly and the away win at wigan was decent. And let's not forget: Adebayor is going to have the game of his life.
Hate to admit it, but I think you're right. I'd be pleased with a point. That said, I hope Adebayor has a **** game, and storms off in a hissy fit. and we play a blinder and a sure footed at the back. 0-2 Arsenal
What if he gets confused and scores for us instead? Now that would indeed be quite a All the clubs he's been moving around over these past couple of years, I dare say the man may be quite disorientated come Sunday afternoon
Even better than seeing him storm off in a hissy fit, would be seeing him score an own goal Oh please - if there is a God..........
I would be content with a draw, but an eight goal thrashing with Redknapp bursting into tears would also make me happy.
It is going to be a home banker. Spurs are playing with confidence and Arsenal's defence is very poor. Were it a better team than Olympiacos (who had never won in England and scored only one goal in 10 previous matches!) then Arsenal would have lost.
No. Will never forget his pathetic performances in 2 of the biggest games in our history. And then he could not understand why we wanted him gone. Fool.
There's been a rather strange reversal of fortunes regarding both club's defences. Tottenham Hotspur have only conceded 1 goal in their last 3 Premier League matches and 1 goal in their last 5 matches in all competitions. By contrast, Arsenal have conceded 4 goals in their last 3 Premier League matches and 7 goals in their last 5 matches in all competitions. Much of this is down to Ledley King's return at the heart of the Spurs defence. In fact, Spurs have won their last seven consecutive Premier League matches when Ledley King has started... please log in to view this image ...and the really bad news for Arsenal is that Ledley looks very likely to start on Sunday. If so, this will be the first time he's managed to play in four consecutive Premier League matches since the tail-end of the 2009-10 season.... please log in to view this image
No ........... you are wrong. We will win . End of . we might play some real shockers but when we play spurs the spirit needs no gee-ing up. We will be up for it just as much as them The pressure is on them at their gaff , not us. 3 points to be sure.
I differ from many arsenal fans in that I don't still hold a grudge against him, I thought the fans were slightly over the top with criticism of him so could understand why he left however I ****ing hated him after that game against us where he tried to injure RvP and Fabregas. Over time though I stopped being angry about him because he seemed to wish that he hadn't moved away from us and he did score against you in the champions league . So basically I will hate him in the derby but for the rest of the season I won't care too much about him (until we play you again that is).
That's a decent side. Cudicini - Second or Third Keeper - Fabianski Bassong - Second or Third Defender - Koscienly Corluka - Second or Third Defender - Mertesacker Walker - Strong young Full Back - Gibbs Lennon - Fast, Pacy Winger - Walcott Rose - Young midfielder - Chamberlain Livermore - Young midfielder - Coquelin Carroll - Young midfielder - Frimpong Pavlyunchenko - Backup Striker - Chamakh Giovani - Backup Striker - Park Defoe - First Team Striker - Van Persie Now, look at the Arsenal team I've just named. You wouldn't call it a third string. It's like a first team with subs and youngsters, which is what spurs have put out. In any case, they should be beating Shamrock Rovers.
