Today was a bad day for us, no doubt about it, but take a step back from the doom and gloom that has engulfed us and put it into perspective.
Wigan threw a lead away in one of their winnable matches. Bolton lost at Norwich, a match they'd have expected at least a point in. Blackburn melted at Arsenal and Samba was nowhere to be seen, also there are things going on there that will all come to light shortly. West Brom lost at home to Swansea, a game they would've expected to win. We haven't lost too much ground other than to Wolves and are still top of the bottom five.

All in all a bad day has been lightened by the following; Adel was at the top of his game throughout for the first time this season, a 90 minute shift full of his box of tricks, someone is going to suffer if he keeps that level up. Zamora is up and running, bought to score goals he's done it and looks the part when he gets the service. Taiwo looked much more in the game and is improving. We've got a shell-shocked Blackburn up next, that is a chance to redeem ourselves. There is a long way to go...

Sooper I like your positive outlook however Cisse could have cost us Prem status today. We were looking great finally and his stupidity lost us the game today and what about the next 3 where he will not be involved, when we need his quality?

I'm sorry but the future is not looking bright for me at this moment in time because today has opened up a can of worms, how will be punished? Can we afford to punish him? How will bounce back? What effect will it have on the squad? Will the crowd get on his back if he misses the few oppertuities? All of this makes me worried.

I am getting a little fed up watching 75 mins of the match in our half of the pitch.Every game now we seem to be pinned down in our own half and what is worrying is that we dont seem to know how to turn it around.Poor sides are running thru us at will.

I thought the balance of the game actually changed after Frimpong went off, Wolves changed from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2 and began to get at us more, then Cisse went and we were really under the cosh as we played a containing game. The equaliser right at the start of the 2nd half was a killer but we seemed to have ridden the storm before Doyle's winner. Just a very hard pill to swallow as we were so on top early on...

Totally disagree. we had shape but that shape gets pulled about when you have a man less.

Alot of the dismay comes from the déjà vu of being a goal up and comfortable then losing a man, then conceding two goals and the game.

Norwich was bad enough, it's even worse when repeated act for act against our relegation rivals.

We need a clean sheet and to start keeping them soon. We are losing and drawing games by the odd goal.

You actually think our defence is ****? Not average or ok or easily not one of the worst with the new additions but....****? Really?
