I've always had a passing interest in our female team even when it was independent of Chelsea FC. Now of course it is a part of the Roman empire and JT is a patron. They are into the FA cup Final after beating the, quite frankly mighty all conquering Arsenal, 2-0 in the semi final. Also an opening win against the Doncaster Belles, the team who dominated women's football for so long. A big reason for this is the re-signing of Dunia Susi. A Chelsea youth product who became an England international and went to America, but has come home in superb form after a season with Bristol. The American league is unbelievably now defunct. Most of the ex-Chelsea Internationals came home and went elsewhere and Matt Beard has had to rebuild almost from scratch again, and kept our Premier place and is now looking to actually challenge Arsenal, Birmingham and Everton once again. Well Done KTBFFH.
OK Stupid FA can't run a website (or referees) here is the Vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qG5_smlxmM0
The under 17 ladies won their cup final today. So, with us winning the main one yesterday, the youth team leading 4-0 from the first leg in their final and the senior ladies in a final that could mean Chelsea winning four different FA cup competitions. Which must be some sort of unique record.
I dont watch the ladies regularly but catch up with snippets on CTV! I also check things out with the Chelsea mag! Great to know they have got to the final and the little girlies did the business! We must now pray for the senior boys in Deutschland!
