Just seen on the news that 1 of Labour's policies that came out today is to make football fans have a voice in their clubs boardroom! What do you think about that?
Do you still think the wealthy/wealthier people will still put their money into clubs if this happens because I don't. the only good thing I can see coming out of it is if there is less money being put into clubs then Greg Dyke wont have to worry about English youngsters getting game time because the foreign players wont come over here because they wont get the very big wages they get now
another example of politicians interfering with something they know f/a about. We need the money men to support our clubs, and they need the supporters to make it succesful
Do they want us fans to be a voice in the boardroom or do they want us to have a bigger say in the running of the club, If its the latter then I think football as we know it will die out for lack of money
We have two!!! Brian Seymour Smith and Ken Masters. If they are viewed as 'equals' by the other directors and involved in the major decision making is open to question!
Under families and communities, the last point mentions it.... but no details! http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/apr/13/labour-election-manifesto-key-points
The issue is that 'fans' are not a homogenous group - there are different opinions across any fan base, so whose opinion will be represented?
