Well signing butter-fingers isn't going to improve their mood much.

It would be great if we could cash in on him during this window.

Their goalie situation is a bit like our CF and CB situation, any idiot can see it needs new players but the manager is blind to it and ours buys DMs while Wenger likes AMs.

Deal suits all parties, and we will get a fee for a player that we got on a free.

You've been a right miserable git recently. How does anyone know who we have been after apart from Parker?

Well weve signed Henry and Oneill so Id say thats a pretty sure indication weve been after at least 3 CMs. Yet only 1 CB, 2 CFs and 0 wingers.

O'Neill plays on the wing, no? Or can. Not sure he's the same type of player at all. Though I agree we need a striker and at least one other winger.

Recently?! I don't think I've ever witnessed a lighthearted moment from Flyer.

I think he should go and have a medical examination to see if he's suffering from a depression of some sort.

Hes like Barton, a CM who can play there or like Onuoha, a CB who can play at RB even though you wouldnt really want them there.

Wed be far better off with no Henry, Barton/ Oneill in the middle and a proper RW.

Still think under current circumstances we should play five in midfield. Got to try to get someone scoring from midfield to share the burden a bit.

Maybe the Liverpool winger will come (gone quiet though) but for now we're gonna have to settle for SWP on the right. I'd have Barton, Ale and O'Neill in the middle, or maybe Jenas, and Hoilett on the left. Zamora up top on his own - jokes.

Hoilett is out 1-2 months so that means SWP on the left and Barton on the right with no real alternatives.

Same with Zamora and AJ being injured, we could all see it happening and zero steps were taken in preparation, same goes for when Hill or Dunne are injured and we end up with just 2 CBs or Simpson goes down and there is no one to replace him. Our squad is paper thin everywhere except CM.

Midfield is reasonably well covered. O'Neil or Barton can play on the right.

Harriman is back soon as right-back cover and Ehmer can also play there. Up front we are short but there's nothing wrong with throwing a kid in (not that they're even kids) now and again. Long term we need another relatively experienced player but there's still time to cover all positions.

Is the Hoilett thing fact or just your opinion?

The squad is light in places but I still think we're in a transitional phase; couple weeks left on the window so we'll see. Might be an idea to bring Mbia back into the squad? He can play CB or RB.

Except redknapp's been going on about a 4th striker for weeks and he's trying to get Baird from Fulham!

Hamstrings are weeks to months out, Id be very, very surprised if he returned within 2 weeks.
