Just shows how low city have fallen since the giddy heights of GJs tenure. Down,Down,Down. Expectations will be low,so no pressure on Steve Cotterill, take us down and the club is in big big problems. Keep us up and what a result again, just shows how far this club has fallen over the years.
Be under no illusions..........there is every chance of us getting relegated. Not because of the new manager I must add, but purely because we are a club in dire straits on a downward spiral. God help Steve Cotterill............
Based on the last home game my expectation is that the team would not have been relegated, they were clearly improving, and they should attempt to play football in an attractive manner to feet and with skill.
It could be the complete opposite, new man, enthusiasm coming back, new ideas, fresh determination, we have got to get behind our team and get rid of the doom and gloom merchants.... Up the City....
Who took us down to this level? I don't care about McInnes when Super SoD took over he had 20 games to go, and sent us down with a whimper. And then won us 2 league games so far this year. If you say he never had time to keep us up then Cotterel is in the same boat barring 4-5 games. Remember SoD left us where we are and you ****ed daily over him.
RR you have to stop with this negative **** mate! Stop being so doom and gloom. We needed a new manager and we got one. He is promosing bringing youngsters in, playing good football and for once a high tempo game. SOD's football was ****. It was passing around the back then hoofing it to Baldock. McInnes and Millen played more entertaining football than SOD and SC will too. Give the bloke a chance ffs
After watching the Sheff U match, I was prepared to let anyone else have a go as long as it didn't mean the back 4 playing possession football harmlessly and then hoofing it long to a 5 foot 7 forward who was comfortably marshalled by a guy about a foot taller. That game was dreadful and if we carried on playing like that, the points yielded over the rest of the season would be minimal. I like Cotterills discipline, which is what one or two might benefit from.We now need to hit the ground running and whilst he might not have been myfirst choice, will get my backing until proved otherwise.
Well put monkey cock but you know the moment we lose RR will be on here posting told you so threads left right and centre

Sounds as if we are for a great spell under this manager not not one good comment over there about the man Re: Steve Cotterill You have my deepest sympathies certainly. 1. it's hoof ball for 90 minutes, there won't be much about scoring goals involved in your play, he will keep faith with failing systems and failing players, perhaps too stubborn to admit he was wrong and change and will make sure you know how good everything he did was. It lacks goals and good defending so I am struggling to see where the good part comes into his play.
To be fair it's not where SoD left us - he inherited a pretty bad situation. The big task for Cotterill is to wisely spend the wages freed by Kilkenny's departure. At least he has a month to look at what he has got before making any decisions. By the way - Cotterill has won promotion 4 times so he can't be that bad ........... can he??
