so who plays the other 15 games when he's out injured? he's got an appaling scoring record dating back years.
Can't be relied on. Breaks down too often. Very good player at this level if fit and a good partner for Austin if playing two up front.
Shame really, to have your career blighted by injury. Hopefully he can still contribute for the rest of the season (we need another striker - or 2 !!)
I admire his work rate but not his scoring rate which has been weak at a number of clubs. Plus he IS injury prone.
He is more delusional than our very own, self-exiled Papillon!!! - Keep him away from Austin as much as possible some injuries are contagious!
I like how he plays for us. I'm only interested in that, not the distant past. I'd keep him but I'd obviously have another established striker and one young potential too. AND! It's good to hear a player saying he's loving it here and wants to stay? Some of what you lot turn your nose up at is exactly what you were crying out for last season.
Stinks of a player looking for a new contract to me. 20 games left tgus season and if he can stay fit play a bit part and earn us promotion then great . After that move on aj . For how much he has contributed in two seaso b s he should not be considered for a new contract. Even if we dont go up we should build for future.
I don't recall anyone ever crying out for a man seemingly made of glass. Matthew Rose springs to mind.
