It's mainly about FIAT currency and what is actually happening, how the printing of money removes the requirement of a government to ask the people, like going to war, the war on terror has apparently cost the US many times the worth of all the gold ever mined on earth, they just print it. Bitcoin is a side not as the answer to taking the control over money away from the governments.

Bitcoin is a very clever idea, potentially a nightmare for governments as it can be argued as impossible to regulate as it is inherently self regulating. The only problem is that unlike conventional money when it's lost it really is gone. Hold the currency on a drive and if that drive is destroyed... those bitcoins will never enter circulation again.

people have lost thousands of pounds buying into the scam. there is no way it can work on a major scale. What me and some friends do is trade our personal skills or talents with no money involved..

Well it could possibly work on a large scale but the bitcoin mining would need a revolution, it is sort of propped up by people with their personal computers. It'll need phenomenal computing horsepower to become globally used, ironically initially paid for by conventianal money.

Very quickly it would need to discover primes existing supercomputers haven't discovered themselves.
