Tonight we travel to a Millwall side looking to bounce back from a bit of a humbling on Saturday by Hull. 4 first half goals, 3 of those coming in 8 minutes ensured a long and wasted trip up north for the South Londoners. So what are we expecting tonight? Millwall will want to get straight back on the horse and forget about Saturday so I expect another tight, physical encounter from an organised team who will not want to give anything away again like they did for Hull. However with clear defensive frailties and our attacking force it may not be such an easy ride for The Lions who, with all due respect, could well be completely taken apart by a strong squad in it's ascendancy. That said we, along with the Blackpool's, Blackburn's and Bolton's, are one of the teams to beat in the division this season so everyone will up their game for us. We could also do with a decent away result and push on for another test away at Palace on Saturday. With all these factors it should be a very interesting tie, and with clear, unashamed bias I will say I think we will edge a tight first half as usual but once again overdrive in the second will see us leave with a victory. Most importantly of all I hope everyone enjoys it
I've predicted a 2-0 win for the bluebirds but I really do not think it will be an easy game. As suggested above the Lions will want to make amends for last weekend and what better way than a win against a team tipped for promotion. Not an easy task and I think we're too strong for them. Will be a tough match all the same.
