What is it going to take for the happy clapper members of this board to admit we're a bit ****ed? Will it be defeat against Villa? Fulham? I only ask because at the moment people don't seem overly worried about the result today, or indeed any of our previous games. Why is that? I only ask because I think Villa and fulham are better sides than Wigan and at the moment really cant see how we are going to win a game?

I'm disappointed but stay positive. We have played against the three best teams in the league, admittedly unlucky in two of them. Things will take time, but I won't panic until November time if things still are poor. It isn't the management, it's the players that have to take fault.
I'm not a "happy clapper", I'm a realist. We are a good side, easily capable of staying up, and everyone that is posting drivel like this needs to be more realistic and stop expecting us to beat Arsenal away. Like I said in another thread, Arsenal lost 8-2 in a game last season, and came third. It doesn't matter, teams can get spanked and bounce back. We are a young side, with players that haven't had a lot of time to gel and play together, and we will only get better. PLUS WE HAVE PLAYED THE TOP THREE. If we get hammered by villa and fulham then I will start to be a bit more concerened, but until then stop telling me to be more worried, and you can all learn a bit more about football.
The people who are now wanting me to go to a death camp or be electrocuted crack me up , I may be negative but in my eyes I am speaking my opinion , do these people have any class ? Thats pretty low and not really very bright .
I'll admit we're ****ed when we're actually ****ed, not after 4 games, you pathetic excuse for a supporter. We're all disappointed about the performance and we're all probably a bit worried about relegation right now, but we have better ways to deal with it than to moan to strangers online. I'm going to happily get on with the other things in my life, while you sit and cry about the only thing in yours.

I wasn't expecting us to beat arsenal away. I certainly was expecting us to beat Wigan at home though. Thats the point i think everyone seems to be forgetting. We havent just played the top three. We also played a **** team and didnt beat them either so thats why i was asking why everyone thinks that is ok?
Why are you panicking when there are 34 games left? As i said, we have a lot of new players, playing in a new formation. It will take time to gel, but we will improve. There is class across the squad. Have you followed football for long, or just since Saints went back up to the premier league?
Basing the outcome of a season on 4 games. 3 of which were against top, top sides. Only 1 of we were totally outclassed.
Because my fellow Lincolnian if you had predicted the points from the games we have played so far you would most likely have put down 3 losses and 1 win. That means we are only 3 points behind where we thought we would be and that is 1 win. If we lose against Villa and Fulham then yes it will be a bit more worrying however I still think we will pull it together. If not then so what. They are still MY saints and I will still support them feverishly
They are my Saints as well and likewise I will always support them , by them I mean the City , club and fans , players have to earn that respect , they still do hav my respect believe it or not as I believe a few of them are out of their depth and its not their fault , its either the managers , board or Cortese for not bringing in enough quality . And here is one for you , I predict the press to have a field day on this in the coming days .
