Too many tough matches in such a short space of time. Cruel fixtures and one our squad could not cope with. We are injury ridden and thank God it's a cup match on Saturday.

Hopefully before our next game we can get some quality in. Not a patch up job though. Hoping MON is bringing in proper first team players to build the team not elastoplasts.

I cant find any excuses mate.

We were simply utter garbage tonight all over the pitch. Couldn't pick you a Sunderland MotM tbh from the whole playing team.

Weak as diluted piss doesn't come anywhere near it imo.

Sorry Tony but I can’t agree with you on this one. We lacked pace & effort right across the pitch.
4 games in 10 days or whatever is not quite like me turning up to work 6 days a week at 7.30am is it, so they can suck it in or get a new job.
We need to get some pace into the midfield double quick & while where at it, if someone could call a taxi for McFudge it would help MoN out so he’s got more time to find a replacement. 25min for SAFC is ENOUGH already.

Think you guys are being overly harsh on the team.

Remember a week ago this lot were good enough to beat man city at the weekend they pushed spurs close, lots of players playing with niggles and knocks.

Larrson needs to be removed from the middle though. A luxury we can't afford at the moment

It should be said that we looked the better of the two sides before they scored there first goal, and had we taken the sitter that was presented to make it 1-1 then it might have been a different story...

The very point is though RAW, is that we simply don't have the quality to take those chances when they are presented to us. If we had better players we would certainly will win more than we lose or draw.

We are only 3 or 4 quality players away from taking points off Spurs and Liverpool regularly - pacy CH; 2 pacy midfielders; pacy striker
