Tomorrow Saturday 17th September 2011, Gillingham FC travel to Edgar Street for their League Two game against Hereford United. The Bulls are currently 23rd in the League, having only managed one win in eight starts. Whereas the Gills after such a promising start to their season, have not won in their last four, having slipped from an early promotion position in the league to a mid-table 13th, now six points behind the current league leaders. Both managers Andy Hessenthaler and Jamie Pitman are no doubt feeling the early season pressure, with reported comments on websites, calling for both managers to go. So this has to be a must win game for both teams. Hessy during the week, boosted his attacking options, with the one month loan deal of Frank Nouble a 19 year old striker from West Ham. The Bulls have added defender Jordan Rose, who was released by Stockport County in the summer. The Gills will surely be hoping to maintain their good 45 minute start to each league game for the full term this time â Gillingham have not conceded a goal so far this season in the first half, in which the record reads three wins and five draws at the halfway mark. So there has to be some question marks around fitness and concentration for the full 90 minutes. If the Gills players heed Hessenthalers reported words about underachieving and can also avoid conceding another last minute goal, maybe this time they might bring home the three points and recommence their promotion push. http://www.gillinghamfan.com/4/post...alves-v-hereford-united-pre-match-review.html
