Dunno if this works or even if it’s allowed but my mate, Andy, who is one of life’s genuine lovely people has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 Brain Cancer and been given a bleak prognosis of 18-24 months
He really is an amazing guy and has taken the news as well as can be expected, far better than I ever could have. One of the girls from our station, Jo, is running the Loch Ness Marathon in aid of Andy and his family so if anyone can spare a few quid I’d be eternally grateful.

I really don’t know if anyone on here did donate as there are a fair few anonymous donations on the page….but if you did, THANKYOU from the bottom of my heart. It really means a lot.
Was planning to phone my mate this weekend but just happened to bump in to him while I was at Charring Cross Hospital as he was going in for his latest Chemo/Radiotherapy treatment…..struggled to keep a dry eye but his humour and personality was its normal self.

it’s strange what the future brings us all.
Thanks everyone

Good luck to your mate Andy. Hope he makes it through but regardless, hope he has a great time with the money with his family
