a four week lock down???? just read the news after being asleep for 24 hours … am in the real world or dead!
to date I have thought the .gov HAS HAD ITS BACK AGAINST THE WALL … have been doing their best as things change daily When you look at the areas where the intense reproduction of the virus is highest it is alarming. Without going into the specific political or ethnic /cultural groupings it is almost exact copies of each other. I looked at 1 place, area, [ as a starter ] it has been suffering for the best part of the whole of the epidemic with 2 major peaks and the bit in the middle well above the national average, currently one of the top 3 areas, if not top. When you look outside of this "box" the areas around it that are catching up! and look for a likely cause you look for the reasoning behind it … it becomes .GOV v opposition, and the citizens looking at the easy option to do as they should not. the main answer came out to be "the leaders" of these areas. "the mayors"... one of the most intense areas is, as we all know is Manchester, draw a circle around that 20 miles from the city centre and it encompasses a number of the intense hotspots. An area where the mayor said the .gov was wrong, but argued needed more money and the people within this circle "ignored" the need to follow .gov instructions...often blatantly! Bristol to a degree has complied, my friends from all over the country have indicated in some areas they wished they lived elsewhere, like S WEST as compliance was treated with distain. Most areas around Bristol Centre are reasonably "free" but the ingress of students has upset our apple cart! My contacts within the university of Bristol indicate that even with measures in place to stop students from "invading" out of campus areas to socialize is quite alarming. The failure of the system Track and trace is down to people not reporting their infection/getting tested or place failing to have details of people who have been their! in 2 shops recently I brought attention to the fact peeps were not wearing masks neither would do or say anything … one shop had at least 3 couples and 2 single adults without masks … I made my objection very clear at the checkout que! I followed at distance one couple with 2 children who were all over the place ...filled my trolley with dozens of fairly small items and managed to get in front of them in the que after having unloaded about 30 items onto the conveyor I stopped, apologised to the cashier, saying" I am sorry those people have not got face masks on, I reported them to staff, and nothing has been done, I do not feel easy [ AT THE TIME PUTTING SANITIZER ON MY HANDS ] with these goods, sorry" and walked off … thanks to all these a holes we now have a month of lockdown. I just hope the police will show no mercy, no need to explain anymore .gov has been explain for month's EVERYONE knows lock down do not mix or get fined ……………….
