Don't know if this has been said, but I thought the ref had a blinder. Got most things right, let the game flow, kept out of the way. Respect!
Haven't watched the game on tv yet so just an opinion from live yesterday and MOTD (and several swallies by then so that doesn't count!) but I thought he was good up till about 40 mins then for a spell of about 20 - 30 mins he gave them a few soft decisions and us some non decisions i.e. Colback won the ball on the wing and he gave city a free kick then there were 2 similar incidents on our left wing and we got nothing. The "penalty" against Toure was never a pen from where I was sitting (just above where the incident happened). In general one of the better performances from someone reffing one of our games but as I say have not seen much TV coverage.
I'm still yo work out why Toure wasn't booked for slamming the ball into the ground. That's picky but I know for certain that Catts would've been booked for it. Besides that he seemed to have a decent game
