I don't like this bit: "They started the season as one of the relegation favourites and their progress has been even more impressive, given the lack of money to spend on the squad. Watford have new owners and if reasonable funds aren't available next season, Mackay would have no difficulty finding a new club."

But i do like this bit: "Take Danny Graham, rejected by Middlesbrough before trying to rebuild his career at Carlisle. Many watched him but it was Mackay who recommended Watford pay £200,000 for the striker. His 14 goals last season have been followed by 27 so far this term, quite apart from many assists - and he's now worth a conservative £10million."

Do we really have new owners, nothing is said more about this.

I wondered why Malky was close to Alex Fergusson, now I know. Malky Mackays father was at Queens Park with Alex Fergusson.

an elegant sophisticated speyside with the most complex aroma of any malt astonishingly fragrant with sweetish notes and a smoky maltiness on the finish............complexity married to such refinement is not easily found.....last sentence could be talking about watford fc...

A few years ago, I took a class of kids for a tour around the nearby GlenDronach distillery. At the end of the tour, I was 'introduced' to GlenDronach 33 year old and have been hooked ever since. Liquid heaven.

When I was with a hotel company we had a conference and got a local Distillary to turn up in the evening and do some tasting. Luckily for me mny team "set me up" to be a guinea pig and I got to taste a 60 year old single malt - very rare - astronomical sum per bottle if you could even buy it - but it was truly heaven
