I was subject to a torrent of abuse for saying that Johnson and Colback are rubbish. However, it now seems the posters on here have actually started to watch the game and have discovered that they are in fact rubbish. Welcome to the real world.
A few weeks ago I was subject to a torrent of indifference for saying that nomoregeordies was a twat. However, it now seems the posters on here have unwisely started to read his posts and have discovered that they are in fact rubbish. Welcome to the real world.
Adam Johnson is not rubbish. Overrated perhaps. Rubbish he is not. Colback's not rubbish he's just invisible.
I cannot help from wondering if it was 1982 and AJ was earning £125 per week, he would be playing a helluva lot better than he is.
He's a little pisshead from what I've heard, no doubting he's a mint player but there's obviously something making him play like a one legged woman.
Johnson aint rubbish, he is overrated though and out of form. Yes, Colback is ****. I said about 6/7 weeks ago, MON needs to go and was called stupid, fickle, idiot, pathetic etc etc. Now there's quite a few who are thinking along the same lines. Time is a great thing though and it just shows to the people who have slagged us, that we are very knowledgeable about the game and have an eye for spotting things before anybody else can see them.
I'm not bothered what we look like..... It would have been the right thing to do though, but no, keep a manager in a job who is not getting results or performances because we don't want to look silly, now that's stupid.
It wouldn't have been the right thing to do, you can't sack someone everytime you have a bad run. We're Sunderland. We're going to have more bad runs than someone who lives on brick lane. You have to stick with people far longer than you and Billy did. Otherwise who would take the job, knowing as soon as there's a bad run of form they're out of the door. Ferguson wouldn't have done what he's done at United, Moyes would have been sacked at Everton a long time ago. It's not the way football works. Unless you're Chelsea, I don't want to be Chelsea.
But I feel pretty confident about the fact that I could see we were a team in decline and the fact we were showing no signs of potential to improve. We had been outplayed every game at that point and since then, but it goes back further than this season, the rut started in March and we just haven't come out of it, in 8 months. I believe we will go down if O'Neill stays in charge, so in my eyes we don't have nothing to lose by replacing him.
Mignolet Bardsley Colback Anypair Gardner Sess Johnson Rose Fletcher Whickam .........................and a lot of prayers for Sunday
I should point out I'm not Mon in or Out at this stage, I have no idea what's best for the club... I can't predict the future, so I have nowt else to say.
