I know that this story is far from your madding crowd but I felt it is a message worthy of note. At a recent match between Seattle and Vancouver in the NHL a young trainee nurse was sitting directly behind the Vancouver bench and was concerned about a distinct mole on the neck of one of the away teams coaches. She put a message on her phone and got the person's attention and showed him her message of concern to which he gave her a thumbs up. When he returned home he got it checked out and was told it was indeed cancerous and that if he had ignored the problem it would eventually have turned deadly. At the next meeting between the two teams he met the young lady and personally thanked her in an emotional reunion. The final chapter was written when both teams donated 10,000 dollars each to cover her medical education and she was seen crying her eyes out at the news and the responses she has got since that event have been out of this world. A truly nice story with the perfect ending for one and all - stay safe.
There are some nice people in this world, it gives you a a good feeling in awful times, keep smiling.
