Just read this article by James Kent - and he talks a lot of sense. "It's easy for fans to be critical of Chris Hughton's approach at Norwich City, but building an approach to getting results can take a bit of time. Paul Lambert's Canaries were always a very exciting team to watch, and, of course, were also very successful during his time with the club. However, different managers have different ideas on the correct way forward for the club. Lambert always liked his players to be young and hungry. In contrast, Hughton seems to prefer his core players to be experienced and possess real Premier League quality." http://voices.yahoo.com/norwich-citys-full-premier-league-transformation-will-11876618.html?cat=14
Criticsm of the current style of play is probably not valid. Despite our more meaqsured approach to playing we are still creating chances. Despite the media reluctance to admit it, we missed two sitters Saturday and two other very good chances. It is not the mangers fault if the player swhen put in a position to score, can't manage to do that.
A commonsense article, we know Chris Hughton needs time, I firmly believe in him. He's still building HIS team, and I think he's done well so far with his new signings. The priority for this season is stabilisation, and maintaining our place in the Premiership, he's getting there!!!
I believe that CH is going the right way about building the team - he has kept the faith with several of the stalwarts of the PL era, but has practically rebuilt the defence with players he has brought to the club. With better finishing and less inspired goalkeeping, our goals for could be in a much healthier state and I'm confident that over the coming months we will start to score more goals.
