SIS...the problem is my friend is that is no longer 'the beautiful game' It is corrupt from FIFA down. There is no morality (Hansen's words not mine). The players in general ate a bunch of cheats/con artists/divers/whiners/overpaid spoilt brats...delete ad required. No loyalty in.general.with Directors/Chairmen.and Managers. There are of course exceptions, but I believe that this is largely the perception of the modern game. Money is the root of all evil. You are of course 100% correct about Eddie Clamp.
I have read, this morning, that Liverpool are considering some sought of appeal against the punishment. Don't know if it's true but if so then I am amazed.
Under Shankly he would not have lasted 10 minutes. Cloughie would have knocked him out. The Liverpool story just underlines my (above) argument
