Came down to Plymouth early, purposely to meet up with like minded members of the Green Army at the big screen at 1pm.Must have been 15 at the most and a few film cameras. After a few chants of "green army" and looks from bemused shoppers it seemed to fizzle out (another beer beckoned).Got to the ground-an obviously small crowd, took my seat in the Devonport end,the atmosphere was flat throughout although there were attempts to cheer on at any hint of an Argyle attack on the Crewe goal(pratically none). The conversation around me was negative (hardly surprising) the sound system was barely audible, the game dreadful as a consequence of two very poor teams playing each other. At the final whistle a loud roar of relief from the Crewe fans-no doubt not believing their luck at playing a team away who can't score and getting a win, and then the realisation we are 92nd in the league,oh and Exeter win.Another beer beckoned-great game football, could have had more fun listening to a Jedwood album.

LOL the march fizzled out because it was deemed as a "save our club" march and as we had supposedly been "saved" the previous evening the march proved pointless hence everyone decided not to bother. I feel sorry for those that did turn up.

aka..........are you sure that is was the Crewe fans who gave a big roar of relief......and not the Argyle fans relieved that it was all over.........I hope you didn't overdose on pastys and scrumpy afterwards.

To be honest Plymborn I would probably have had more fun sitting in a dark room listening to a Leonard Cohen album musing on the point of it all than watching that match-by the way what is the point of it all?
