A defender in January and it all would have been so different.

If Wenger had signed a Centre Back in January 2011 (I MEANT 2011 NOT 2010 LOL) -

    - When Vermaelen was out we would have a decent CB as cover

    - We would easily have got an extra 6 or 7 points from this alone

    - Then there's the fact that at the end of last season we had nothing to play for, if we did, then the players would have tried in games like Villa and Fulham, so add another 9 points.

    - We would have walked the Carling Cup because Koscienly might not have been playing.

    - We might have actually stood a chance against Barca in the second leg, but probably lost to United in the final (I'm confident we could have beaten Madrid)

    - We would have got the league because of what I explained earlier.

    - The FA cup Possibly as well.

    - Nasri, Fabregas, Clichy would all have stayed, and the only signings would be Gervinho, Jenkinson, Chamberlain, and possibly Campbell.

    - This year the future would be a whole lot brighter.

And all if Wenger had signed a centre back in January.

    Now, onto the negatives:

    - We would have get all the **** fans that drift between teams at the emirates.

    - Frimpong wouldn't have broken into the first team.

  3. Why this particular emoticon?

Because you stand by the manager who because of his own intransigence has cost the team and could very well mean that we don't make Top 4 this season? If you disagree with Mr Samurai, then debate his points.

You get the idea it's all speculation, hindsight etc etc What defender could we of got in january that was better than our players? realistically, and don't say Cahill
Add in the settling time during them important games/cup final games would of added extra pressure etc

Anyone who thinks that buying 1 defender would have solved all our problems last year is deluding then selves. Who exactly would you have wanted him to buy? Bear in mind that January is not a great time to buy and most players find it difficult to come straight into the EPL and perform at their optimum.

Now people might say cahill, personally I don't rate him that highly, I watched him against man u for Bolton a few weeks ago and he was terrible, would there still be this hype around him if he was Scottish or welsh, or even Dutch? I really don't think so. It seen the media are obsessed with us buying cahill. Actually cos was immense in both games against barca, only jack out performed him. And as for the carling cup, don't make me laugh, we played poorly and still missed a few good chances (thanks nasri), the game should have been well and truly won before that mistake, plus who is to say we would have won it in extra time?

    Haha!

I hate these speculative articles anyway. If I'd put my life savings on a 4-4 draw with Newcastle last season I'd be a wealthy man. If I'd not called that 'special constable' a "twat who didn't have the authority to arrest me" then the real policeman (which he was) wouldn't have put me in the cells for the evening until I'd sobered up. If I'd have not done those comedy lunges at a fancy dress dodgeball competition then my shorts wouldn't have split and my new boss wouldn't have seen my cock and balls.

F*cking 'ifs'. Never happened, so lets stop tormenting ourselves. For all we know our new centre back could have turned out to be a massive pile o' crap like almost every other centre back Wenger has signed.

    If I hadn't been born **** ugly
then I would have not been picked on at school.
I would have concentrated on my studies and got good exam results
gone to university and become a leading expert in my field.
I would have got a 90k per year job and bought a flash motor.
A stunning and intelligent woman would have fallen for me
and we would have had beautiful children.
I would have retired early and then been discovered by a top movie producer,
captured by my good looks, he would have cast me in a leading role
and I would have become famous and adored.
With lots of influence, I would have moved in the most elite social circles
and I would have met the top people and the best brains in the business.
Together with my new friends we would have discovered a fantastic new invention,
which would have saved humanity from destruction.
We would have been adored and revered world wide.
I would have won the nobel peace prize,
and then been elected as Prime Minister.
There I would have become corrupted by power
shady businessmen would pour illicit millions into my bank account
I would have been found out and shamed and humiliated.
I would have let my people down
and wrought by the shame of it all
I would have become a broken man
    turned to drink and drugs
and have become a wreck and a sorry shell of my former self.
In a last ditch attempt to free myself from my ruin
I would have taken my own life.

So, it was a good job that I was born ugly <ok>
