So I'm hearing a lot of 'Pardew Out' calls lately. The last number of games haven't been ideal, of course they haven't. We're getting thumped, and the players are playing without passion. It's a disgrace, and reminiscent to the back-end of last season.

However, take a step back and look at the bigger picture for a second. Barring something extraordinary, we will be finishing in the top 10 this season, which is what most of us would have taken if offered back in August.

This season alone, Pardew has overseen victories over Chelsea, Man United and Spurs, and until Cabaye was sold, we were on course for a finish above last season's champions.

Yes, there have been some disgraces this season. The 4-0 losses are awful. The Meyler incident was of his own making, and was absolutely stupid. But Pardew is trying to manage a football club with his hands tied behind his back, isn't he? Look at our squad - it's threadbare, and we all know who is to blame for that.

Ashley needs to invest in this squad - take Remy out of the squad, and you can see what happens. Sell our only creative outlet to PSG, and see us toil about for four months in search of a goal.

This is still the man who guided us to 5th just two years ago. Let him rebuild the squad in the summer. Because right now, no manager would be able to get results out of this sorry lot.

Can't even be bothered to read the full thread after reading "look At the bigger picture"
I think if you look at the "bigger picture"
There is no defending the moron who should have been sacked 18 months ago.

The squad is light I agree but look at the likes of palaces squad

The last few games are just the nails in the coffin.

Our players may be average. Good managers though get performances out of average players. Tony Pulis is a perfect example. Pardew is a poor manager.

So what about the two 3-0 defeats to Sunderland when Cabaye played in both?

Or the 2-1 at their place where Cabaye and Remy played? Or the 3-0 at Swansea? Or the home defeat by Hull?

What about the 0-6 against Liverpool when Cabaye played?

You then add all that **** to the headbutt, the fact he calls Manchester United "Utd". How about the fact our set pieces have been the worst in the country for three years?

What about our cup records under him? You know, the one which reads knocked out by Brighton twice and Stevenage once.

His record against Sunderland is one win, two draws and three defeats.

Even when we finished 5th we capitulated against Wigan (4-0), Spurs (5-0), Fulham (5-2). Last year with Cabaye and Ba we shipped 7 (SEVEN) at Arsenal.

When trailing at half time do you know how times we've come back to win? Not even once in 77 games. What does that say about his team talks?

He's overseen 19 defeats by three or more goals, from 1993 to when Pardew arrived we'd only lost 35 by such a margin. He's over halfway their in just under four years.

Our squad is far from inexcusable but there is no defence of Pardew. We've only scored one goal in the ten games Remy has missed I believe. It's a damning verdict of how Pardew lacks the nous to tinker with us tactically.

To be honest the players are actually decent although a bit of a threadbare squad! The issue is the fact they are continental styled players and we have a very English coaching staff. Our players have shown they can play great attacking football however, Pardew's attacking football is akin to Wimbledons.

Have said before either we replace the team with English (Stoke-esque) players or the coaching team for a more free flowing/continental set up. For me it has to be rid of the coaching set up as it is cheaper and will bring a style of football I would enjoy.

Spot on mate save Cabaye only played in one of the three nil defeats. Save that I agree with all of it.

If Pardew had half a brain he'd be dangerous.

I heard they weren't in the top four.

    Don't know if it's true.

What's the difference between Australia and a bowl of fruit?

If you leave a bowl of fruit long enough it will develop it's own culture.
