- cisse can not play as a lone man upfront. He has neither the presence nor the aerial ability - why the **** did we sell helguson? Best winner of the ball in the air of the team and today we were absolutely crying out for someone to convert all the crosses into the box and someone for cisse to play off - RB and LB are still major areas of concern. Onuoha looked as shaky as last season and Fabio was absolute ****e. It says a lot when mackie has to drop back from striker to play as a RB to make up for Onuoha's positioning and mistakes - Not enough steel in the middle. Despite playing a midfield of 4/5/6 during the game, we couldn't control the middle. Part of the problem was due to having too many flair players. We only had 1 midfielder willing to track back today and it showed - park is not captain material. I don't understand the appointment. It seems to me almost like the Barton situation last year where a player has being made captain written into their contract. As it is I don't think any new player should be made club captain. - its just 1 bad result. Rangers did a very Jekyll and Hyde performance today. The first half was very good creating 10 good chances and we were unlucky not to be ahead at half time. The second half from the 50 min onwards was utter ****e. The defence looked like they'd just met, we started resorting to long shots. The biggest stat of the second half was our possession: 22%. - rob greens performance deserves a thread of its own and I am struggling to think of a worse debut other than possibly fabio's today and bob Malcolm's a few years ago - onwards and upwards. Hughes should absolute scare the living **** out of them tonight, so we should get a better performance next week. And as for anybody suggesting Hughes should be sacked, grow up, it's one performance, get behind and support your team. If you honestly think a team should sack its manager after the first game of the season, you'd be better off supporting spurs
Back on my assurance that the coast's clear - meaning respect restored. Make me right about that, okay?
The last team to batter QPR at Loftus Road, on the first day of the season, got relegated. May history repeat itself.
One more thing to add... The set pieces were dire. Not once did Taarabt find a Rangers player, shocking.
What the **** was Hughes doing taking off Clint and putting SWP on? We were ****ing dreadful today. Worse than against Bolton. Spent over a oner today and I feel like I've been mugged!!!!!
Very strange substitution to say the least, SWP for Mackie perhaps, but for Clint? We need another centre back at a minimum plus a goalkeeper, any goalkeeper... Fabio is a loan deal which was fair enough, he was ****e at ManU and nothings changed but Green FFS... I still can't get my head round that.
As Hughes said himself, No excuses! We NEED a captain and one able of communicating in English, we desperately need a centre back and have done for years, why we haven't bought one is very strange. We NEED two up front even more so at home. Very naive today against an always good swansea team. I am fuming at this result yet funnily enough i wasn't last season when we lost 4-0 to bolton!! I will support Hughes but i have never rated him as a manager and his tactics were poor!
If Mark Hughes isn't talented enough as a Manager( and if his Management team also aren't talented enough) to get a new side to gel quickly, what exactly are his talents as a Manager?

Oh and another thing.... Stop getting Man U players in, after the ineffective Macheda, we have Fabio and Park. Both had truly shocking debuts. At least they can only get better.
lets drop Taarabt at Norwich and bring back Zamora in a solid 4-4-2 I think we will see the best of Cisse then Cisse will be a waste of space on his own because he needs support
Rarely found one with a straight pass either - and lost so much possession. Let's hope he settles down and does a job next week. Hoilett on the other hand was immense - until there was nowt left to play for.
