It will be one that was heard a little last season.

    Our name is Bristol City
    Not Chelsea
We play at Ashton Gate BS3
Be proud to come from the West Country
    Support your local club

It has the team behind much of what passes for City street culture behind it.

Words in the right ears from the club and there is a campaign waiting to happen. In and out of the ground.

Support your local club bookies favourite!! Odds on. The nawghty bucket of water/cider song looks a strong bet. Sun shines on the apples should attract the smart money.

Hopefully more originality, west country narrative instead of follow the leaders on soccer AM/match of the day/you tube.

I suppose the problem with New and origional chants is they take a while to get understood by the majority of the crowd whereas chants heard on the TV get heard by almost everyone perhaps we should do a thread with the words of chants and if we can an audio clip of them being sung. Anyone else think that might be a goer?

Driving force behind things has changed as It used to be Pub, vans, coaches. Blokes like AP ( emigrated now) from sub coach leading things. Others hare approaching sixty who had a bit of clout to get things going. Lot of the young lads don't have that terrace schooling. Saying this though City is still pretty lively, still has a fan culture v a commercialised face painted replica shirt one.

I remember the new chants being started on coaches on the way to away matches I wonder if that still happens?

Perhaps we should take extra Cider to give to the Old Bill as a peace gesture?
